What is Quality Mark?
Designed to recognise the hard work and dedication of SFA member clubs and teams, the Quality Mark Award scheme aims to reward those who have a desire to be the very best they can be.
The SFA have supported us in our efforts and the Quality Mark Awards – run by the Scottish FA in partnership with sportscotland – is one of the ways in which they do just that.
To gain one of the awards – Bronze (Standard), Silver (Development), Gold (Community) or Platinum (Legacy) - The club must achieve each of the related list of criteria. Aimed at improving or supporting management, development structures, administration, planning and welfare, these criteria help our club as we strive to improve.
The Scottish FA don't just set the criteria and leave you to get on with it. We have been assigned a regional Club Development Manager to our club who is our main support throughout the process, as well as providing a large number of templates and core policies, sharing case studies and suggesting best practice techniques that they've learned from other successful clubs.
Currently Clyde Apollo have achieved the Bronze (Standard) award, with the aim of progressing through the levels as the clubs grows.
